Getting Started. - If your not so tech savvy there are installation services out there to help you install your blog for free and domain registrars that offer free installation when you host your site with them. I don’t recommend using a blog hosting service. This is one of the most common mistakes that people make when starting a blog. It’s an easy way to start blogging but not the best.

The First Step To Branding Yourself. - You’re unique and so is your blog. Your blog needs to be hosted on its own domain. You can’t brand yourself or your blog as effectively without a unique domain name. The truth is, if you have your own domain name the links and the traffic you work so hard to build are yours to keep, along with your reputation as a blogger.

When starting a business blog focus on these basic principles. Doing this will get you started in the right direction.
